One of our empowering health messengers, Kate Bovie, had the opportunity to share her personal experience with the American Public Health Association (APHA), raising awareness for healthcare and people with developmental disabilities through a social media campaign that takes place during March, also known as the month of developmental disabilities awareness.

Through our health programs, we aim for inclusive health worldwide. We are part of the world's largest public health organization for people with IDD, providing free health screenings and more, year-round!

We are continuing to work to create more inclusive practices through training healthcare professionals in understanding how to work with individuals who have developmental disabilities.

Listen to Kate speak above as she shares her experience in healthcare and her continuing advocacy for inclusive health!
