Get ready for our 2026 Summer Games! June 5th & 6th we return to Saint Michael's College where athletes from across the state will compete in Bocce and Basketball! ​
Summer Games is a true celebration from start to finish. The event begins with the Law Enforcement Torch Run, as the Flame of Hope makes its way to Opening Ceremonies setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend. We’ll also host our Unified Basketball Exhibition, bringing together state leaders, community partners, and SOVT athletes for a fun, friendly, and inspiring game.
Summer Games showcases the sportsmanship, joy, and inclusion that define our movement’s more than a competition, it’s a celebration you won’t want to miss.

2026 TORCH RUN
We are excited to share that registration for the 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run is live! This incredible event brings together law enforcement officers, athletes, and communities across Vermont to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes.

The 2026 Torch Run will start on Monday, June 1, with officers carrying the “Flame of Hope” through communities across the state, culminating in a celebration for the Final Leg on Friday, June 5.
