Student Opportunities

Internship

Special Olympics Vermont is occasionally searching for interns to work in our office throughout the year.
Special Olympics Vermont is a small, highly collaborative, statewide organization that provides sports training and competition opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities. We seek to provide a learning environment that will prepare college student interns for the real world job market upon graduation. Our internships offer tangible, resume building skill development in a variety of fields. Internship opportunities are available to current college students (preferably juniors and seniors) each semester and in the summer.
All potential interns must email resume to info@vtso.org.

Volunteer

Special Olympics Vermont accepts students who wish to volunteer at our events which include the Penguin Plunge, Law Enforcement Torch Run, 5K, Board of Directors’ Golf Tournament, and the State Games. The student volunteer will be immersed in all aspects of event preparation and execution. All potential student event volunteers must email resume to msweezey@vtso.org .
