Special Olympics Vermont is pleased to welcome two professionals to the team in South Burlington.  Kelly Wilkins of Barre joined the organization as the Athletes and Families Coordinator and Chris Langevin of Highgate Springs is the new Sports Manager.

Chris is a 2010 Graduate of Springfield College with a degree in Sports Management.  He has a wealth of hands-on sports competition experience developed as part of his degree studies and over several internships with organizations such as the Vermont Frostheaves,  University of Missouri Basketball program and as part of the event staff for the Spalding Hoophall Classic (basketball).

Kelly brings more than a decade of experience from Ben and Jerry’s in marketing and hospitality.  Her goal is to develop and enhance the athlete and family experience with Special Olympics Vermont through strategic communication, guidance and leveraging existing resources.  She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.

“Kelly and Chris are great additions to our team of professionals,” said Lisa DeNatale, President and CEO of Special Olympics Vermont.  “Athletes and families are at the core of our movement and Kelly and Chris will develop new opportunities to enhance the athlete’s experience.
