Miles for a Mission

25th Annual KeyBank Vermont City Marathon

Sunday, May 25, Waterfront Park, Burlington

Special Olympics Vermont is thrilled to be a Miles for a Mission partner for the 2014 KeyBank Vermont City Marathon.  RunVermont’s Miles for a Mission program was created in 2009 to help local charities raise financial support through the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon and Relay. This program was designed to strengthen ties between the running community and Vermont charities.

In 2014, SOVT has 10 relay teams who are raising funds and awareness for our athletes.  We have six 3-5 person relay teams and four 2 person teams available, first come, first served.

We will also host an aid station at the race where volunteers, staff, board members and athletes will make sure to keep the nearly 8,000 runners hydrated and fueled.  At the end of the race, SOVT will have it’s own tent at Waterfront Park for its runners to gather and recoup.

2 person relay bib (4 total) – SOLD OUT

3-5 person relay bib (6 total) – SOLD OUT

We will work with you and your team to create an online fundraising platform which makes seeking donations much easier.  This is a wonderful opportunity for people to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Vermont and participate in one of the best events of the year in Vermont.

Each team (and individual) who raises the suggested minimum will receive a Special Olympics Vermont running shirt!
