Special Olympics Vermont Summer Games is our largest competition. It takes place at the University of Vermont. We offer four sports: aquatics, athletics (track and field), bocce and softball. Two other staple events at the Summer Games include our Healthy Athletes program and the culmination of our Law Enforcement Torch Run. Friday evening is Opening Ceremonies – 7pm at the UVM Track

Join us for the 8th annual Special Olympics Vermont Board of Directors Golf Tournament presented by Three Four Builders. This scramble style tournament will take place on the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain. The entry fee is $400 ($100 per person) and two-somes are allowed. Two-somes will be paired up.

Since 2001, Dream Ride has been bringing people together on the open road to celebrate the achievements of Special Olympics athletes. Each year thousands of motorcycle and car enthusiasts rev up their engines to honor this worthy cause. Motorcycle and car enthusiasts from 12 States and 2 Countries converge on The Farmington Club in Farmington, CT for a weekend of fun. Dream Ride has donated more than $1.7 million to Special Olympics!
Vermont will have two send-off locations that will get participants to Connecticut for a Friday, August 23rd arrival. The send-off locations are:
Green Mountain Harley-Davidson, Essex Junction
Wilkins Harley-Davidson, Barre
Dream Ride includes live music, a delicious steak and chicken dinner, prizes and an unforgettable time.

Our annual state golf tournament takes place at the esteemed Equinox Resort in the quaint town of Manchester. Special Olympics Vermont athletes and partners participate in one of five levels of competition.
Level 1 Individual Skills Contest Short putt, pitch shot and clip shot Long putt, iron shot and wood shot
Level 2 Alternate short team play competition (9 hole round)
Level 3 Unified Sports team play (18 hole round)
Level 4 Individual stroke play competition (9 hole round)
Level 5 Individual stroke play competition (18 hole round)
