Meet our 2014 Female & Male Athletes of the Year


2014 Female Athlete of the Year
Kate Bove
Age: 26
Hometown:  Burlington, VT
Sport: Aquatics

Kate not only dedicates time for practices during the on and off season, but advocates for her fellow athletes within the community. This year’s recipient is an active member of the Burlington Unitarian Society, volunteers as a classroom assistant in an Early Essential Education Program, and holds a board position with the Williams Syndrome Association. She is known for her work ethic, integrity, humor, and indefinite potential she sees in herself and those around her.

Hometown: Shelburne, VT
Sport: Athletics (Track and Field) & Bowling

Cory always puts others needs before his own and always approaches new situations with a positive attitude. He can be described as sociable, confident, humorous, and an overall good role model. Cory served on the Hinesburg Fire Department for two years, volunteers his time at the Humane Society, and represented Team Vermont at the 2014 USA Games.
